Medicine is Complicated
There is not a one size understanding of health. As genes interact with the environment through factors like air pollution and smoke, we see different health outcomes in people who share similar lifestyles, behaviors, and eating habits – some get sick and some stay healthy. We plan to study the different factors to predict and prevent disease.
Be One In A Million
We are hoping that by enrolling one million Mount Sinai patients, we can understand why some people get sick and other people stay healthy.
But We Need Your Help
Only a small group of people typically participate in research, but in order for us to fully understand our health, we need everyone to participate.
Help Make a Brighter Tomorrow
With your help, we can move medicine forward and work to discover how to prevent and treat diseases for ourselves, for our families, and for our communities.
